Product Descriptions
Wash oil is one of the important fractions in the distillation process of coal tar, with a boiling range of 230-300°C, accounting for about 4.5-10 per cent of coal tar, which is a complex mixture, and the content of each component fluctuates in a wide range due to the different cutting processes of each manufacturer. Generally speaking, wash oil is yellowish brown to brown oily liquid, rich in quinoline, isoquinoline, indole, α-methyl naphthalene, β-methyl naphthalene, biphenyl, dimethyl naphthalene, acenaphthene, oxyfluorene and fluorene, and other valuable organic chemicals, with naphthalene compounds having the highest content.
